The Settle plugin is now live in the official ChatGPT plugin directory. It brings public sector sales intelligence into ChatGPT, so teams selling to state and local government and education can find opportunities, research buyers, and move their next pursuit forward in the same conversation.

For teams already using AI to get work done, this opens up a new way to work with Settle. The opportunity data, early buying signals, and context in your workspace can now inform the questions you ask, the responses you draft, and the workflows you build around them.

Better information for the work you are already doing

Selling to the public sector takes context. A procurement notice tells you what an agency is buying. A budget decision, an expiring contract, or a board discussion can help explain why it matters and when to engage. Your own workspace adds the history of what your team has found and decided to pursue.

That context makes AI more useful. With Settle connected, ChatGPT can search the RFPs available through Settle, retrieve opportunity details, and help draft responses. You can ask questions about information in your Settle workspace and use the answers to plan further research, prepare outreach, or decide where to focus.

The value goes beyond getting an answer. It is being able to carry the information into the next piece of work without rebuilding the context each time.

Act on the signals before the RFP

Settle Signals surfaces buying activity that can point to an opportunity months before an RFP is issued. Bringing those signals into an AI workflow gives your team more ways to act while there is still time to learn about the buyer and build a relationship.

Consider a school district planning a technology upgrade. Your team could use a signal as the starting point for research into the initiative, questions about fit, and an outreach draft that reflects what the district is trying to accomplish. As more information becomes available, that same context can shape follow-up and preparation for a formal response.

This is what excites us: helping teams close the distance between learning about an opportunity and doing something useful with it. Earlier intelligence, connected to the right action, gives your team more time to build a strong pursuit.

Connect Settle to the way your team works

Every public sector sales team has its own process. Some start with named accounts. Others work from territories, upcoming renewals, or posted solicitations. The tools and handoffs around that process vary just as much.

The plugin makes Settle intelligence available within that broader toolset. Alongside other connected tools, it can inform workflows that combine opportunity research with account context, turn findings into outreach, and support follow-up. Where those tools support actions, teams can automate more of the work between discovery and execution.

We want teams to have the freedom to use high-quality public sector intelligence in ways that fit their business: a research brief, a territory plan, a proposal draft, or a workflow they design themselves. The goal is to help teams act with better information and move deals forward faster.

Our commitment to AI-native public sector sales

We have been testing these connections over the past few months, and we are excited to make the ChatGPT plugin broadly available. This release is a step toward a larger commitment: making Settle intelligence and capabilities useful wherever public sector teams choose to work.

That includes the Settle app. We will continue developing the native experiences our customers rely on to discover opportunities, manage pursuits, and build RFP responses. It also includes ChatGPT, Claude, and the agents teams increasingly use to research, reason, and take action.

We will continue expanding this ecosystem and working with OpenAI to build native plugin experiences that bring the best of Settle into ChatGPT. Our Claude connector is also in beta; teams interested in trying it can reach out to us.

Our direction is clear. As more sales work happens through AI, Settle will keep building the intelligence and workflows that help teams find the right public sector opportunities, pursue them with confidence, and win more business.
