A service provider is sought to act as the Zero Waste Event Coordinator for flagship events in New York. The selected coordinator will support the implementation of zero waste practices at designated high-profile events, serving as both a facilitator and educator.

Responsibilities include establishing a clear and reasonable Zero Waste Standard for these events, and developing stratified, multi-year goals aimed at achieving that standard within three years. The coordinator will target 4–6 flagship events, positioning them as exemplary models for zero waste, particularly in organics recycling and overall waste reduction.

Key tasks involve developing comprehensive waste management plans in collaboration with event planners at least one month before each event. The coordinator will also be responsible for educating both event planners and participating vendors to ensure consistent adoption of zero waste practices at all targeted events.
