DESCRIPTION

The government authority located in Chicago, Illinois is seeking a qualified partner to provide comprehensive workforce pre-apprenticeship services, with particular emphasis on the construction trades. The selected Consultant(s) will be responsible for identifying, recruiting, preparing, and managing participants from throughout the agency's service area, ensuring alignment with workforce goal requirements.

The ideal program will incorporate strategies that boost recruitment, participation, and retention of program participants. Services should include providing education and pre-vocational training to help participants achieve minimum qualifications for entry into Registered Apprenticeship programs. Additional required services involve introducing participants to apprenticeship opportunities, assisting with applications to Registered Apprenticeship programs, and offering support services such as childcare, transportation, counseling, and connections to career resources.

Participants must receive hands-on experiences simulating actual trade work under appropriate supervision and safety standards.
