The selected vendor will provide comprehensive third party administration (TPA) services for workers compensation within a county school's self-insured program. The scope of work includes overseeing all aspects of workers compensation claims administration from the initial injury report through to the final claim closure, including any reopened claims.
Responsibilities include prompt incident reporting to the employee's supervisor, submitting claims to excess insurance carriers according to their guidelines, and facilitating employee understanding of the claims process. The vendor will be required to receive injury reports through multiple channels and provide three-point contact with the employee and employer, ensuring employees receive timely medical care and minimal work disruption. Claim investigations will be conducted as needed to support effective claims management.
The awarded contract will have a duration of one year. All questions regarding this procurement must be submitted by June 10, 2026.
