The selected vendor will provide workers compensation recovery assistance services, including the management and filing of workers' compensation claims. The vendor will utilize claim information to identify cases involving medical treatment and notify relevant parties so employees may submit bills for industrial injury-related medical care. Services will encompass negotiating with workers' compensation insurers, appearing at appeals board conferences and hearings, collecting on related liens, and remitting collections.

The contractor is responsible for pursuing reimbursement from the injured worker's employer or their workers' compensation insurer. Vendors must provide a quarterly list of all pending bills by medical center, including patient names, the last 4 digits of social security numbers, and total billing amounts. The scope also includes workers’ compensation case identification and collection activities. The contract period is one year.
