Workers Compensation Insurance Program Services

A government authority located in Verdes, California is seeking a contractor to provide workers compensation insurance program services under a fully insured model. The selected provider will be responsible for bearing the financial risk for all covered claims, with no deductible, claims funding requirement, or loss-sensitive risk transfer mechanism imposed on the district. The policy must provide statutory workers compensation coverage for all district employees, including full-time, part-time, temporary, substitute, and auxiliary staff across campuses, facilities, and authorized off-site work locations.

Coverage is expected to apply to a broad range of job classifications, including instructional personnel, administrative staff, maintenance and custodial workers, food service employees, bus drivers and transportation staff, and extracurricular activity supervisors. The program must also include coverage for occupational disease, cumulative trauma injuries, and repetitive stress injuries as required by law.

In addition to insurance coverage, the contractor must provide comprehensive claims management and administration services at no additional cost beyond the annual premium. The scope also includes return-to-work program support, proactive loss control and risk management services, reporting and data analytics, regulatory compliance and statutory filings, and dedicated account management. The anticipated contract term is one year.
