DESCRIPTION
Pace seeks a contractor to provide a cost-effective and proactive workers’ compensation program focused on controlling workplace injury claim costs. The contractor will be responsible for comprehensive claims management, including handling all prior workers’ compensation claims transferred from the current incumbent and all new claims arising after the contract’s effective date.
The contractor must disclose any ancillary services it owns and intends to use on claim files, including applicable rates and the frequency with which those services will be assigned. The selected provider must designate an account manager, claims manager, and one full-time dedicated indemnity and medical claims adjuster for the Pace account.
The contractor must also provide internet-accessible claim files 24 hours a day, seven days a week. These files must include, at a minimum, claims adjuster and claims manager notes, payment records, and reserves.
