The city is seeking qualified vendors to provide workers’ compensation administration services, supporting its self-insured workers’ compensation and general liability programs. The scope includes delivering administrative and case management services, as well as disability management, to ensure comprehensive claims administration.

Vendors will be responsible for reviewing all existing and future claims pertaining to personal injury, illness, or disease occurring during employment. This entails the examination of medical billing from both in-state and out-of-state healthcare providers related to duty-related injuries and illnesses. Additionally, the selected vendor must conduct necessary investigations on reported claims or losses, collaborating with the city’s plan administrator to verify claim validity.

The contract also requires performing administrative and clerical tasks related to qualified claims and losses, including preparing payments on behalf of the city. The initial contract will cover a three-year period.
