The organization seeks a vendor to deliver a Workday-compatible student faculty compensation solution, including both configuration and implementation. The goal is to simplify payment and accounting workflows for Part-Time Faculty contracts, supporting a volume of 500–1000 instructional assignments per term.
The proposed module—potentially delivered as a Workday Extend app—must provide interfaces for HR, Finance, Payroll, Academic Administration teams, and faculty to view, edit, or cancel faculty assignments, contracts, and related pay records. Key requirements include the ability to update contact hours and other course details, use assignment dates for pay periods, time contract issuance based on class scheduling, and utilize current worktag validation rules. The system must support batch processing and allow contract updates prior to term start.
Additional functions include instructor notification of assignment and pay amounts, auditing of pay records, and seamless communication of contract details. The resulting contract will be for a three-year period. All vendor questions must be submitted by June 10, 2026.
