The government authority in Acton, California is seeking a vendor to provide wide area network (WAN) and internet access services, inclusive of bundled firewall functionality. Required circuits must support multiple data services including computer networks, voice over IP, digital video, and similar applications, with VPN capabilities for at least 50 concurrent client sessions, scalable up to approximately 200.
Services must include BGP (Border Gateway Protocol) for multi-homing with two or more ISPs, enabling the receipt of full routes. The bundled firewall service must be E-Rate eligible and capable of processing inbound and outbound traffic with a minimum throughput of 10Gbps, while the WAN must offer full duplex fiber optic connectivity at a minimum of 10Gbps, scalable to 20Gbps. The firewall must feature stateful functionality.
Questions regarding the RFP must be submitted by March 3, 2026. The contract awarded for these services will be for a period of three years.
