The state of Ohio is seeking a qualified vendor to provide comprehensive website redesign, development, and implementation services utilizing a content management system (CMS). The primary objectives include creating a modern digital platform that emphasizes usability, accessibility, mobile responsiveness, and robust security features. The new website will serve as the main online presence, incorporating updated technology infrastructure and enhanced content management capabilities.
Key project deliverables include conducting user research and persona development, performing a content audit, and establishing a content migration strategy. The vendor will be responsible for information architecture planning, developing multiple visual design concepts, and creating a style guide and design system. The redesigned website must provide responsive design for desktop, tablet, and mobile platforms, utilizing wireframes, prototypes, and refined UI/UX design.
Additional requirements entail migrating existing website content, offering content strategy recommendations, supporting content creation and optimization, and implementing a comprehensive deployment strategy. Post-launch services include 24 months of warranty and support, ongoing content and technical updates, application of security patches aligned with NIST 800–40 standards, and automated site optimization. The solution must feature virtual tours, web-based fillable forms, integration with video hosting platforms (such as YouTube and Vimeo), and custom video player options. A pre-bid meeting is scheduled for March 4, 2026, and all questions must be submitted by March 11, 2026.
