A healthcare institution is seeking a qualified vendor to undertake a comprehensive redesign, development, and migration of its extensive website using the Drupal content management system. The project encompasses a large-scale web redesign, brand integration, and user experience (UX) improvements, with a focus on both short-term and scalable long-term solutions. The vendor will be responsible for creating a unified, master brand messaging strategy to guide all web content and communications while enhancing digital experiences for both patients and providers.
Key responsibilities include conducting a thorough audit of the current institutional design system—spanning over 16,000 clinical pages on the existing Acquia CMS on Drupal—and piloting design exercises to establish a new, cohesive visual identity and design system components. The selected vendor will perform in-depth UX assessments for multiple personas, such as patients, providers, internal staff, and AI-driven user scenarios. There is a strong emphasis on improving digital transactions like appointment scheduling, provider searches, facility location, bill payments, patient referrals, and access to clinical resources.
Additionally, the scope involves integrating AI-enhanced search capabilities and developing search engine optimization (SEO) strategies, including geo-targeted adjustments. The vendor will manage content rewriting, migration to the new platform, the design and publication of new webpages, and quality assurance (QA) testing. The engagement also requires facilitating institutional consensus on digital vision and priorities, developing rollout and implementation plans, and ensuring system-wide adoption of new tools and design standards.
