An Ontario-based organization is seeking a qualified vendor to provide comprehensive website redesign, development, and hosting services utilizing a modern, open-source content management system (CMS). The project scope includes a full rebuild of the website, integrating sections such as Athlete Profiles, Coach Hub, Safe Sport, Events, Governance Hub, and Youth Hub. 100% content migration, including validation reports, is required to ensure accuracy and seamless transition to the new platform.
The CMS must offer staff-managed workflows like draft, review, approve, and publish, include version history, an editorial calendar, drag-and-drop layout builder, and provide a 3-year licensing arrangement. Design specifications emphasize a mobile-first approach, accessible and bilingual single-source content, rapid sub–1–second load times, and approval of wireframes and mock-ups prior to full development.
The hosting solution must leverage Canadian data centres and be capable of supporting multi-site deployments with 99.9% uptime, Docker/CI-CD support, and comprehensive portability documentation. Essential features include live sports scores, Smart Schedules, personalized dashboards, and a feature-rich Youth Hub, as well as optional integrations like geo-targeted revenue modules and centralized live sports data. The solution requires robust security and analytics compliant with GA4 dashboards and smart search, with a 90-day warranty provided.
The technical architecture should be modern, scalable, secure, and based on a contemporary front-end framework and modular styling system. The platform must ensure full exportability of all site content, data, schemas, and configurations to allow for third-party use. Interested vendors must submit questions by February 3, 2026.
