DESCRIPTION

The Village is seeking a qualified vendor to provide comprehensive website design, hosting, implementation, migration, launch, and ongoing support and maintenance services utilizing a widely supported content management system (CMS). The goal is to develop a modern, user-friendly municipal website that aligns with best practices in design, is responsive and mobile-first, and reflects the Village’s branding, communication goals, and accessibility standards.

The selected vendor will overhaul site navigation, remove outdated content, and ensure that all information is presented clearly and intuitively, while maintaining final content approval and ownership with the Village. The solution must comply with accessibility standards such as WCAG 2.1 AA. Key features include integration of a native or hybrid mobile application, an AI chatbot or virtual assistant, GIS and interactive mapping tools, digital transparency and reporting dashboards, enhanced resident engagement and self-service tools, and social media integration and automation. The initial contract period is two years.
