The State of Maryland is seeking a qualified vendor to provide comprehensive website design, development, implementation, hosting, maintenance, and support services utilizing WordPress or Drupal content management systems.

The selected vendor will be responsible for full-service website development, covering the entire process from planning and design to site implementation and ongoing maintenance. Key deliverables include developing a site map, structuring content, and creating a user experience (UX) plan. The new CMS-based website should offer user-friendly administrative controls and feature core pages such as Home, About, Membership, Events, Resources, News, and Contact. Additional requirements include online membership registration with payment processing, an event calendar and registration system, search engine optimization, analytics integration, and adherence to data privacy and security best practices.

Vendors will be expected to migrate existing content to the new platform, optimize content for readability and consistency, and recommend or provide secure, scalable hosting solutions. The project scope also includes prototyping, user feedback sessions, and integration with social media, partner sites, and third-party tools as necessary. The anticipated contract period is two years.
