The organization seeks a qualified vendor to provide comprehensive website design, development, hosting, infrastructure, and launch services utilizing a content management system (CMS). The current WordPress website does not meet strategic, integration, accessibility, security, or governance standards. The selected vendor will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and launching a new website by early 2027, with a focus on enhancing client access, increasing recurring donor engagement, improving system integrations, achieving accessibility compliance, and ensuring long-term maintainability.

Key requirements include custom application development, proprietary backend systems, a donor login portal, and custom CRM workflow engineering. The vendor must deliver enterprise-level managed security services, obtain third-party accessibility certification, and implement SEO-informed information architecture, URL redirect mapping, and metadata frameworks to safeguard search equity during migration.

Language accessibility is a priority; the new website must offer a persistent, visible language toggle and improved machine translation without compromising performance or accessibility. Vendors are expected to recommend a CMS platform suitable for non-technical staff to update content, manage homepage elements, control navigation, and publish urgent updates independently. Hunger Task Force will retain hosting control, and vendors must advise on secure hosting configurations, backup strategies, environment separation (development, staging, production), and SSL management. All project-related questions should be submitted by April 3, 2026.

Best-fit vendors:

• Proven experience in large-scale website design and CMS development

• Expertise in SEO, accessibility compliance, and security for non-profits

• Skilled in custom application and backend system development

• Experience integrating CRM workflows and donor management portals

• Familiarity with hosting and infrastructure best practices for mission-driven organizations
