The city is seeking a vendor to provide comprehensive website design, development, and implementation services utilizing a content management system (CMS). This project involves designing and launching a new, aesthetically pleasing, user-friendly, and intuitive website to replace the current municipal web presence.
Key requirements include building websites capable of supporting a wide range of online services, enabling full site searchability, facilitating content creation and editing, offering a dynamic calendar of events, and presenting an engaging and inviting interface. The selected provider will be responsible for creating website templates, redesigning the information architecture, and ensuring the sites are easy for city staff to manage and update so that staff can immediately add and maintain content upon launch.
The project also involves developing a website CMS implementation project plan and applying redesign mockups to the CMS software to deliver a turnkey solution. The new websites are expected to be ready for launch by March 2027. Initial payments for these services will not be made until the beginning of the 2026–2027 fiscal year. All vendor questions regarding the RFP must be submitted no later than April 16, 2026.
Best-fit vendors:
• Experience in municipal website design and development
• Proven expertise with CMS implementation for public sector clients
• Ability to deliver turnkey website solutions on time
• Skilled in user experience design and website information architecture
• Established track record with government or city clients
