Washington is seeking a vendor to provide a customizable web and mobile search tool focused on waste and recycling services. The tool should feature a searchable directory to help residents and businesses identify proper local disposal options for various waste streams, including regular waste, recycling, and organics. Additional requirements include the ability to view collection schedules, submit collection service requests, and access current, jurisdiction-specific disposal guidance.

The selected vendor will be expected to support efforts to reduce contamination and enhance the quality and quantity of recycled materials. Tasks include customizing messaging to meet community needs, maintaining an accurate waste information database, and providing ongoing administrative functions such as billing, invoicing, and contract management. The vendor must also deliver ongoing customer and technical support, software updates, and improvements, as well as ensure strong data security and user privacy protections. Integration of GIS data and routing functionalities, along with collaboration with county and regional partners, is required to maximize platform effectiveness and user outreach.

A designated point of contact is required to coordinate project activities and address issues. The contract period for this engagement will be one year.
