Monaghan Tourism is seeking an experienced web developer to design and implement an interactive geospatial repository and map of outdoor recreation amenities. The project requires the use of WordPress as the content management system and integration with ArcGIS Online for geospatial data. The primary goal is to provide a user-friendly, mobile-responsive platform that allows residents and visitors to easily discover and explore trails, cycling routes, water activities, and other outdoor spaces throughout the county.

The selected developer will build a comprehensive database of trails and outdoor locations, enabling users to search and filter by various categories to find amenities suited to their interests. The solution involves creating a centralized geospatial repository in ArcGIS Online containing all of the county's outdoor recreation assets. The developer will configure the interactive map and application on the Monaghan Tourism website to present this data using the ArcGIS Esri mapping interface, replacing the existing Google Maps setup.

Additionally, the platform must integrate seamlessly with the WordPress website and allow Monaghan Tourism staff to easily update and manage data on new or existing trails and activities through the CMS. Collaboration with the Council’s website team will be required to ensure successful implementation, and the final product must support use across all portable and mobile devices.
