Nebraska is seeking a web-based video detection and data collection system to enhance its traffic management capabilities. The proposed system must offer a secure, web-based graphical user interface that allows an unlimited number of authenticated users to log in concurrently. Full accessibility across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices using Chrome, Microsoft Edge, and Safari browsers is required.
The solution should facilitate connectivity between field devices and the central traffic management center, including remote monitoring and management functionalities. Key features include a viewing mode with telemetry data overlaid onto intersection diagrams, integration of live and historical environmental data such as precipitation and temperature, and support for live video streaming at up to 30 frames per second with a resolution of up to 1280 x 1280 pixels. The system must be capable of detecting vehicles, pedestrians, and cyclists, and provide comprehensive reporting on signal telemetry, detector activity, and alert data.
This project is set for a one-year contract period.
