Ontario is seeking a qualified software developer to design and develop a secure, web-based data solution aimed at supporting women entrepreneurs with disabilities. The project seeks to address systemic gaps in the availability of information about women with disabilities within the entrepreneurship ecosystem, which presents a significant barrier to achieving economic security and prosperity for this group.
The solution will aggregate data from multiple partner organizations and diverse information systems using secure web forms, API integrations, Secure File Transfer, and other standard methods. The tool must be accessible, ensure data security and anonymity, and support ongoing data collection and reporting requirements. Key responsibilities include engaging stakeholders representing a range of entrepreneurship experiences and communities, co-creating the data collection framework, developing proof of concept and minimum viable prototypes with agency partners, and supporting the project evaluation throughout the contract term.
Applicants should demonstrate expertise in both the entrepreneurship and disability sectors, with experience in program outcome data collection platforms. The contract is anticipated to last one year, with involvement in activities from rapid prototyping through to piloting the solution and contributing to project evaluation phases.
