The agency is seeking a vendor to provide a web-based safety inspection data sheets database management platform aimed at ensuring a safe and efficient system of toll-supported highways with exceptional service to customers. The solution should allow employees to access Safety Data Sheets (SDS) on-demand, print SDS sheets, and maintain hard-copy backup documents.
The platform must be accessible via a standard web browser on any web-based platform and offer tools to track safety events, required inspections, and mandatory training. Integrated learning management features are required, enabling course scheduling, tracking of completions, and pairing of training with tasks, quizzes, and support documents. The system should record, track, and analyze workplace incidents such as near misses, vehicle accidents, and worker injuries. Additional functionalities include scheduling and managing all types of inspections, issuing automatic alerts for scheduled tasks, and assigning and tracking follow-up actions, with notifications to responsible parties.
Implementation services will be required, including configuration of the web-based program, migration of active employees with security role assignments, branding integration, and support for a single dashboard interface. The contract period for this engagement is three years.
