A New Jersey township is seeking a vendor to provide a web-based road and asset management software solution. The primary goal is to enhance the safety and longevity of municipal infrastructure through the use of advanced technology, enabling efficient and proactive management of roads and related assets.

The software must offer comprehensive visual documentation and facilitate the identification of damage to township roads and assets, such as manholes, roadway signs, and storm-sewer inlets. It should support automated data collection via smartphones or sensors that can be easily mounted on township vehicles, enabling rapid and efficient collection and analysis of asset condition data.

Key features include automated cataloging of damages, flexible options for data communication and export, as well as objective prioritization of roadway improvements. Integration capabilities with existing township software—such as Geographic Information Systems and Spatial Data Logics—are essential. The solution should also allow direct generation and distribution of data, images, and tasks via email, create printable reports, and export data in Excel file format, including condition reports organized by geo-coordinate and roadway segment.

The contract will be for a period of five years.
