A music organization in Quebec, Canada is seeking ongoing support and enhancement services for its web-based data management tool and data enrichment processes. The primary objective is to ensure efficient operation and continued development of the database, which enables compliance monitoring and management of music-related metadata.

The selected vendor will be responsible for providing system maintenance, support, and enhancements, including continued access to the management tool and the enrichment of metadata in accordance with DDEX protocol standards (ISRC, ISWC, ISNI, IPI). Each year, approximately 12,000 new titles require enrichment, in addition to a one-time enrichment of 101,200 historical titles. Other key duties include maintaining the MAPL-based CanCon calculation functionality, calculating rights splits for composers and lyricists using SOCAN data, normalizing and integrating updated datasets as supplied, and ensuring secure data transfers via Kiteworks. Communication will be conducted through email and videoconferencing as necessary. The contract is set for a three-year term.
