Vendor needs to provide Compact Dual Polarimetric X–Band Doppler Weather Radar System capable of collecting real time, high resolution, weather radar data, images and data products.– Data collected with the Compact Dual Polarimetric X–Band Doppler Weather Radar System will be used in support of Department of Ocean and Atmospheric Sciences major courses, faculty–led, Midshipmen hands–on, project–based learning and Capstone and Independent research in the fields of radar meteorology, severe and extreme weather, and mesoscale meteorology.
