(1) Vendor needs to provide weather forecasting, alerts and data system– The weather data and forecasting system must provide access to weather data and forecasts as described in the following sections.– Provides real–time weather information, decision support tools, meteorological forecasts, pavement forecasts, and service as needed, in accordance with the terms and conditions specified herein.– The system should also provide data access and meteorological consultation via telephone and weather forecasts and weather warnings via mobile devices such as cell phones and mobile devices.– Real–time, forecast, and historical weather data delivery shall be completed primarily through the internet using a browser–based application hosted.– Weather charts, maps and graphics consisting of surface analysis, millibar charts, surface forecast of 12, 24, 36 hours and temperature charts, etc.– The system will automatically alert users to the presence of lightning strikes within user–defined watch and warning areas.– The system will provide real–time lightning strike depiction, which will refresh every minute.– The system must be user friendly and make use of point and click menu capabilities.– Temperature, actual and adjusted for wind chill, humidity, and other pertinent factors.– Cloud cover description.(2) Pre–proposal conference will be held on December 22, 2025.
