DESCRIPTION

The issuing organization seeks a weather decision dashboard solution capable of delivering utility-grade weather forecasting, real-time meteorologist support, advanced modeling, configurable decision-making tools, and end-user support. The solution will support operational planning, situational awareness, and storm response through integrated forecasting capabilities and accessible data tools.

The dashboard should be user-configurable and may include real-time weather maps, risk assessment graphs, notifications and alerts, resource management tools, and user-specific modules. It must monitor and report conditions including temperature, dew point, humidity, heat index or wind chill, wind speed and direction, precipitation, soil moisture, atmospheric pressure, and microclimate variations. Predictive weather modeling must be updated at least hourly.

Users must be able to query and download historical weather datasets, including temperature, humidity, wind, precipitation, solar radiation, and forecast data. The solution must be accessible through desktop and mobile platforms, with mobile push notifications and alerts. It must also ingest client-provided datasets, including GIS utility infrastructure data and historical outage information, to support outage forecasting and dynamic alerting, as well as forecast staffing requirements based on predicted weather conditions.
