DESCRIPTION

The issuing entity is seeking a qualified signage, wayfinding, and graphic design professional or firm to design a comprehensive signage system. The scope includes municipal branding and the design of gateway, directional, facility, district identity, and parks and nature interpretive signage, as well as a broader wayfinding system tailored to the community.

The selected firm will conduct a wayfinding analysis and develop a destination hierarchy that identifies gateways, corridors, districts, and key destinations such as parks, trails, waterfront areas, marinas, parking, and public facilities. The project also includes routing recommendations for vehicular, pedestrian, and bicycle users, along with prioritization of recommendations.

The consultant will support public and stakeholder engagement by delivering at least two presentations to the City Council and Economic Development Corporation and facilitating one Small Business/Public Open House event to discuss design concepts. In addition, the firm will prepare a phased implementation strategy that allows independent bidding and installation of different sign families or geographic areas, with planning-level cost estimates for each phase.
