The vendor will be responsible for providing a replacement system for monitoring wastewater processes. The system must deliver real-time monitoring and visualization of all aspects of wastewater treatment plants, including tanks, pumps, valves, sensors, and transmitters.
The solution will collect operational data from PLCs at each wastewater treatment facility on a scheduled polling interval, displaying both current values and historical trends. The platform should enable authorized users to view and adjust operational setpoints and control parameters, such as tank levels, pH control, temperature thresholds, and pump speeds. Additionally, the system will generate and manage alarms based on configurable thresholds and process states, sending alarm notifications via email to a designated Outlook distribution list with repeat notifications at configurable intervals.
Additional requirements include displaying alarm statuses, allowing alarm acknowledgements, and recording alarm history. The solution should support operational troubleshooting with dedicated control, trend, status, and diagnostic screens, capture wastewater operations data for regulatory reporting, and store historical trend and alarm data locally on SCADA workstations for a limited retention period.
