The State of Georgia is seeking a vendor to replace its current telephone system with a comprehensive Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) solution. The selected provider will be responsible for migrating from the existing Siemens PBX system to a modern VoIP platform. The project includes the installation and configuration of approximately 400 VoIP telephones, 400 10-foot Cat6 patch cables, as well as the procurement of an enterprise license for VM VoIP software.
The scope of work also involves updating virtual machines and associated equipment to the latest software versions. Proposals that demonstrate strong support for mobility and remote work—such as enabling connectivity for mobile devices, smartphone applications, and remote work features—are particularly valued. This initiative aims to enhance communication capabilities for both in-office and remote employees.
