Commander Fleet Readiness Centers (COMFRC), based at Naval Air Station Patuxent River, MD, intends to acquire VMware software licenses and support for the Fleet Readiness Center Southwest (FRCSW) at NAS North Island. This procurement covers VMware licensing needs, including software releases, revisions, and patches for the Industrial Manufacturing System (IMS) and Structural Mechanical Analysis (SMAL) Labs within FRCSW.

Carahsoft Technology Corp. has been identified as the exclusive vendor authorized to supply, upgrade, and maintain VMware software for the Department of Defense under an existing Blanket Purchase Agreement. As such, the planned purchase will be conducted as a sole source procurement, ensuring continuity of service and compliance with federal requirements for these critical software systems.
