Statement of Need: CIS/ARK DataBridge License Maintenance Support. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Veterans Integrated Service Network (VISN) 4 GENERAL INFORMATION Title of Project.: Clinical Information System (CIS) and Anesthesia Record Keeper (ARK) DataBridge License Maintenance Support.

Work Summary: The contractor shall provide DataBridge licensing, software updates and support to seven (7) VISN 4 Veterans Affairs Medical Centers (VAMC) including: Altoona VAMC, Erie VAMC, Philadelphia VAMC, Pittsburgh VAMC, Lebanon VAMC, Wilmington VAMC, and Wilkes–Barre VAMC.

Background: DataBridge is a required component of a Clinical Information System (CIS) and Analytics system and is acquired from the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) Document Storage Solutions (DSS) or any authorized vendor. The DataBridge provides a software interface between a CIS (Clinical Information System), Analytics system, and the VistA system. The interface provides two–way data transfer between the VistA system and a CIS and one–way transfer from VistA to Analytics. The interface includes patient demographics, Text Integrated Utilities (TIU), patient allergies, problem list, care status and delivery, lab orders and results, medication orders and administration, and information regarding surgeries. CIS–DataBridge meets the interface requirements for the Anesthesia Record Keeper (ARK), Intensive Care Unit (ICU), and Data Analytics.
