Kansas school districts are seeking proposals for a comprehensive virtual schooling platform. The platform is intended to provide an alternative learning option for students and families whose needs may not be met by traditional classroom settings. It will support flexible learning while ensuring compliance with the agency's reporting and tracking requirements, including attendance monitoring, activity logs, and adherence to Kansas Statute 72-3712 for funding audits.

The system must allow Kansas-licensed teachers to monitor student progress, deliver direct and explicit feedback, and offer supplemental or intervention support as necessary. Integration with the districts’ existing PowerSchool Student Information System (SIS) is required, along with support for Google or Clever single sign-on (SSO). The initial contract period for this virtual schooling platform will be one year.
