A Louisiana agency is seeking a qualified vendor to design, supply, install, and maintain a scalable and comprehensive Video Management System (VMS). The solution must encompass high-quality video surveillance hardware, software, storage, and support services, with the ability to integrate seamlessly with the agency's existing cameras of varying brands and models.
Key requirements include real-time monitoring, recording, playback, remote access, and a minimum 5-year warranty on the VMS. The system should feature a cloud-hosted software option (such as Avigilon Alta Aware or approved equal), and support for up to 200 high-definition (minimum 1080p) IP cameras, including new additions. Additional functionalities must include site assessment, multi-user access with customizable controls, a simplified dashboard interface, night vision, motion and image detection, smart search capabilities, and cloud access to connected cameras.
The solution must be capable of injecting analytics into existing camera feeds, enabling advanced analytical features without full hardware replacement. It should offer legacy camera overlay and integration, as well as support for access control features such as open gate capabilities. Future expansion, user customization, and support for advanced multi-view layouts are also required for effective and scalable operations.
