The State of Louisiana is seeking a qualified vendor to provide a comprehensive video detection and vehicle tracking system utilizing wide angle, single-camera technology. The scope of work includes the installation of video detection systems equipped with ultra-wide angle lens cameras and all necessary components such as repeaters, video processors, performance modules, interface units, cabling, brackets, and hangers to ensure a fully functional solution.
The solution must integrate seamlessly with existing controller equipment, cabinets, and traffic systems. Key features required include vehicle detection and actuation at intersections, pedestrian actuation and counting, bicycle discrimination and counting with clearance extension, highway flow monitoring, ramp metering, advanced detection capabilities, pedestrian crossing extensions, and temporary construction zone detection. Additionally, the system should collect and archive traffic data on the cloud, enabling future analysis and optimization of intersection timing plans. Further technical capabilities sought include occupancy-based actuation, signal performance metrics, user-defined zone output pulses, onboard video recording/playback, and an open API for data access.
Vendors must provide all necessary hardware, software, and support to deliver a complete, reliable video image vehicle tracking detection system that supports advanced traffic analytics and enhances traffic management efficiency.
