The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), through its Office of Information & Technology (OIT) and Connectivity & Collaboration Services (CCS), is seeking information and feedback from industry regarding the transition of its existing contracted Co-located Hosting Services (CHS) for the VA Gateway North and East locations. This Request for Information (RFI) is issued solely for information and planning purposes, and it will be used to shape potential future acquisition strategies without binding the VA to any particular approach.
Interested organizations are encouraged to review detailed requirements and provide input on their capabilities to support a "like-for-like" transition of CHS, ensuring minimal disruption to ongoing VA operations. Responses gathered through this RFI may influence the scoping and objectives of forthcoming solicitations related to the VA's hosting and infrastructure needs.
Best-fit vendors:
• Providers of enterprise-class co-located hosting services
• Experience supporting federal or large public sector IT environments
• Familiarity with Department of Veterans Affairs or similar agencies' requirements
• Capability to ensure seamless service transitions
