Vertical Transportation Preventive Maintenance, Testing and Repair Services

The government authority in Poughkeepsie, New York is seeking a vendor to provide comprehensive preventive maintenance, testing, callback, emergency response, and repair services for elevators, lifts, and other vertical transportation equipment. Services include scheduled examination, cleaning, lubrication, adjustment, testing, diagnosis of malfunctions, corrective work, and repair or replacement of covered components.

The selected contractor will respond to routine and emergency service calls, shutdowns, and passenger entrapments; perform required periodic tests; coordinate with the agency, its independent inspection provider, and applicable authorities; and correct deficiencies related to its maintenance responsibilities. The contractor will also maintain service records, maintenance-control documentation, callback records, testing records, repair histories, and other required reports, while providing technical support, recommendations, and equipment condition assessments. The contract period will be three years. Questions must be submitted by October 15, 2026.
