The agency is seeking a vendor to provide vehicle tracking and telematics systems for its fleet, including snowplows and other mobile assets. The solution must enable remote data collection, diagnostics, and deliver operational intelligence tailored to fleet management requirements.

Essential features include real-time vehicle location tracking, breadcrumb history, and odometer reading capture directly from the agency interface. The system must support comprehensive reporting such as fuel efficiency and MPG for all vehicles, energy usage for electric vehicles, and emissions data allowing automated integration for inspection certification. Additional requirements include engine diagnostic alerts, maintenance notifications, vehicle utilization and idle time reporting, and tools to monitor speed with customizable alerts. The system should also offer geofencing, stolen vehicle recovery support, and configurable alerts for after-hours or excessive usage.
