The State of Illinois is seeking a vendor to provide comprehensive UX/DX digital experience and implementation services for various State agencies. This engagement focuses on enhancing website design services to improve both User Interface (UI) and User Experience (UX) for the agencies' customers. The selected provider will be responsible for redesigning state agency websites, supporting accessibility compliance, mobile responsiveness, and performance best practices, while ensuring efficient ongoing content maintenance by agency personnel.

The scope of services includes website development, deployment, and support related to maintenance and operations. The contractor will oversee the controlled and secure launch of redesigned or new websites, meeting all technical, operational, and user readiness standards. Key deliverables encompass source code and configuration artifacts, content creation and migration, document and page migration development, content lifecycle management, search engine optimization (SEO), navigation roadmap designs, and recommendations for information architecture enhancement.

Additional requirements involve producing user interface designs such as mockups, prototypes, wireframes, UI component and style guidelines, and developing user experience materials including flowcharts, sitemap diagrams, and UX writing. The successful vendor is expected to contribute to the State's goals for improved usability, accessibility, and performance across all redesigned platforms. The contract duration will span a ten-year period.
