The State of California is seeking a cloud-based utility rebate management system that leverages Salesforce CRM to enhance workflow automation and AI-driven document recognition. The desired solution will provide a comprehensive, turnkey platform for managing rebates, equipment tracking, workflow management, and detailed reporting. Key requirements include application, approval, and payment management functionalities, as well as improved reporting, enhanced customer and contractor access, and optimized staff workflows.
The system should feature robust CRM capabilities for handling customer data, communications, and email campaigns, with preferred integration to the Outlook email platform. AI-driven enhancements are expected for document and image recognition, facilitating the automation of project creation and data population during the online application process or through staff uploads. The platform must support end-to-end rebate processing, automated workflows, a customer and contractor web portal with document management capabilities, and automated notifications for key process milestones.
Additionally, the solution should include tools for migration of historical accounts, projects, and measure data along with attached files. It must support data uploads via API or CSV, role-based access controls, single sign-on (SSO) integration, and customer authentication either through CIS integration or account validation. Staff dashboards will be required for reporting, budget tracking, and monitoring energy and water savings. The initial contract term will be three years.
