The government authority located in Mercedes, Texas is seeking a vendor to provide comprehensive unemployment compensation insurance services. Responsibilities include the administration and management of unemployment compensation claims filed by employees, as well as providing counseling and representing the district at all administrative hearings concerning unemployment claims.

The selected contractor will be required to enter claims and related supporting data from investigations into a computer database maintained by the contractor. Additionally, the vendor must submit samples of relevant publications, reports, policy and procedural recommendations, and similar documentation. The services also include the processing and secure storage of employee payroll and separation data, and the prompt, accurate completion of all unemployment claim forms and inquiries. Loss control services will be supported by the Fund for the program participant.
