The selected vendor is required to provide an ultrasound reporting software solution that integrates seamlessly with ultrasound devices, the Epic EMR, GE Voluson systems, PACS/VNA, and analytics platforms. The solution should enhance reporting accuracy, turnaround times, and workflow efficiency. Key modules must include structured reporting for OB, Gyn, and Fetal Echo, as well as support for measurement ingestion from GE Voluson devices using the DICOM SR standard.
The software must comply with Epic interoperability standards (HL7 v2, FHIR, Interconnect), support PACS/VNA integration, and offer AD/LDAP authentication and group-based permission management. The solution should provide analytics dashboards for both clinical and operational insights, and vendors are expected to handle implementation, training, testing, and go-live support as part of the project.
Ongoing maintenance, system updates, and SLA-based support are required. While a SaaS model is preferred, hybrid or minimally viable on-premises deployments will be considered. Migration of historical reports and discrete measurement data into the new system must also be included. The contract will be for a three-year period.
Best-fit vendors:
• Proven experience with ultrasound reporting software development and deployment
• Familiarity with EMR/EHR integration, particularly Epic, and medical imaging standards (DICOM, HL7, FHIR)
• Expertise in SaaS and hybrid healthcare IT solutions
• Ability to deliver implementation, migration, and ongoing support for healthcare organizations
• Experience serving hospitals or large healthcare systems in Texas or the U.S.
