A Colorado-based agency is seeking a qualified vendor to provide a comprehensive travel modelling and GIS support system. The scope of work includes software development, database management, data acquisition, integration of big data sources and analytics, as well as travel modelling and transportation demand analysis. The project involves working within a data management framework and will require the implementation of both on-premises and cloud-based applications, as well as server-based solutions.
The selected vendor will be responsible for creating accurate and routable representations of dual carriageways on the state highway system, connecting to and processing real-time data feeds, and rendering outputs in various formats such as tables and GIS layers. Additional responsibilities include the development and integration of applications—potentially within existing platforms like ArcGIS Online or Enterprise, or through custom deployments. Use of Esri application builders such as Experience Builder, Dashboards, and Story Maps may be required. The vendor will also provide software recommendation reports, integration plans, upgrades, as well as expertise in GIS spatial data creation, manipulation, and tabular data analysis.
The contract period is one year. Vendors interested in submitting questions must do so by November 21, 2025.
