DESCRIPTION
The selected vendor will provide transit advertising and maintenance services for city-owned transit shelters, including advertising at these shelters, sharing advertising revenue with the city, and conducting cleaning and basic maintenance of city-owned transit shelters and furniture at no cost to the city. Digital advertisements may be considered for select locations, pending written city approval, but must not be overly bright, should feature nighttime dimming, and cannot include videos, flashing, or moving elements.
Vendors will be responsible for supplying new maps, schedules, and plexiglass covers to replace damaged or faded ones in bus schedule holders, as well as removing and replacing transparent advertising kiosk covers affected by graffiti, vandalism, sun exposure, or general uncleanliness. They must also change out regional maps and schedules with each update. Maintenance requirements cover routine cleaning at frequencies determined by the city, non-routine cleaning as needed or upon notification, and servicing of all existing and future bus stops, shelters, and transit center facilities.
A comprehensive business and sales plan is required as part of the proposal. Vendors must also perform power washing and address the unique cleaning needs of bus stops with varying levels of usage. A pre-bid meeting is scheduled for June 8, 2026.
