The selected vendor will supply traffic control signs to the requesting agency in Tennessee. All materials must be provided on an as-needed basis throughout the one-year contract period.
The furnished signs must include pre-drilled mounting holes (3/8-inch diameter) with rounded corners, and be fabricated using Engineer Grade Reflective Sheeting applied to 0.080-inch aluminum substrates. Signs are to be reinforced with folding fiberglass ribs to ensure durability and ease of deployment. Collapsible work zone signs are required to be made of retroreflective orange vinyl construction featuring black lettering and/or symbols.
Stands for work zone signs must be constructed from heavy-duty galvanized steel and have a minimum weight of fifteen pounds, ensuring stability and reliability in deployment.
