A comprehensive track and field timing system is sought for use in Virginia. The vendor will be responsible for supplying and installing timing equipment, including electronic timing systems such as photo–finish cameras, timing gates, and RFID/bib tag readers that are capable of automatically and precisely capturing athletes' times. The provided system must prioritize data accuracy and reliability throughout each event.

In addition to hardware, vendors must provide software able to efficiently organize, display, and publish results, splits, and rankings. The timing system should support integration with scoreboards, event management software, and offer live displays accessible to coaches, athletes, and spectators.
