DESCRIPTION


The vendor will provide tobacco and nicotine prevention and cessation strategies for young adult students at colleges and universities. The work will focus on increasing awareness of and connections to cessation resources while creating and promoting prevention resources that are relevant, accessible, and responsive to young adults.

Services will include enhancing campus-based prevention and cessation initiatives through evidence-based or evidence-informed strategies; increasing awareness of and access to cessation resources among students, faculty, and staff in coordination with existing mass media campaigns; and identifying campus-specific trends, needs, and barriers related to tobacco and nicotine use.

The vendor will also develop and recommend campus policies, practices, and environmental strategies that support tobacco-free and nicotine-free communities. Lessons learned, promising practices, and recommendations will be shared with the agency to inform statewide tobacco and nicotine prevention and cessation efforts.
