A college is seeking a qualified vendor to modernize its legacy Threax-based .NET applications by migrating them to a modern front-end platform compatible with their existing .NET, Azure, and Canvas environments. The objectives of this initiative are to enhance maintainability, scalability, and adherence to industry best practices, all within a defined budget.
The selected vendor will be responsible for conducting a comprehensive assessment of the current Threax-based application infrastructure and codebase. Following the assessment, the vendor will recommend a modern, industry-standard front-end platform that aligns with the college's C#/.NET framework. Responsibilities include identifying and prioritizing candidate modules for migration, delivering a detailed migration strategy (such as utilizing the strangler fig pattern), and laying out a phased migration roadmap.
Key implementation tasks will comprise setting up the new platform architecture, configuring routing, layout, authentication, and component structure, as well as establishing DevOps pipeline integration for CI/CD to Azure. The solution should fully support seamless integration with existing APIs or back-end logic, provide compatibility with component-based single-page application (SPA) development, and ensure ongoing viability through a strong developer community. Knowledge transfer to college staff is also expected as part of this engagement. All questions regarding this RFP must be submitted by February 19, 2026.
