DESCRIPTION
The government authority in Casa Grande, Arizona is seeking a qualified vendor to provide third party inspection services supporting Right-of-Way (ROW), Site Development, Public Improvement, and Capital Improvement Program (CIP) projects. The selected consultant will offer technical expertise, inspection oversight, reporting, and coordination support to facilitate successful infrastructure and development project delivery.
Services will include on-site and off-site construction inspections for roadway, utility, drainage, sewer, and related infrastructure improvements. Inspectors will document construction progress by contractors and utility providers working within the city right-of-way and ensure compliance with approved construction plans, technical specifications, permits, and city standards. Coordination with city staff, contractors, developers, and utility providers to resolve field issues and promote timely completion is required.
Additional responsibilities include reviewing traffic control measures for compliance, maintaining daily reports, tracking quantities, identifying deficiencies for corrective action, and attending project, pre-construction, and coordination meetings. In the absence of city staff, the consultant may act as the city inspector under the City Engineer’s direction. The initial contract will be for a one-year period.
