DESCRIPTION

The requesting organization seeks a vendor to provide a secure, third-party-hosted Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) enclave along with comprehensive managed compliance services to support advanced research projects. The proposed solution must deliver a fully managed, scalable, and compliant research environment that enables secure collaboration, software development, modeling and simulation, artificial intelligence and machine learning development, digital engineering activities, as well as storage and processing of CUI.

Integration with the university's existing cybersecurity, identity management, research computing, and compliance programs is essential, aiming to minimize administrative burden for faculty, researchers, and support staff. The initial deployment will support fewer than twenty users, but the architecture must be capable of scaling to accommodate multiple research centers, projects, laboratories, principal investigators, and both resident and visiting student researchers, along with future federally sponsored research initiatives, without the need for major redesigns.

The solution should serve as a long-term strategic platform, forming the foundation for ongoing and future research activities that require robust CUI handling and compliance.
